Matthew 28:19

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

Mark 1:9-10

In those days Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan. And when he came up out of the water, immediately He saw the heavens being torn open and the Spirit descending on Him like a dove.

Baptism

BAPTISM illustrates an inward charge by an outward expression. We believe baptism by immersion best illustrates the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus.

Baptism

is an outward expression of an inward change. We believe that as Jesus becomes Lord of your life that you become a new creation (2 Cor. 5:17) and one of the first steps in obedience after becoming a follower of Christ is to follow through in believer's baptism. This is an incredible symbol that portrays a picture of the old life being buried as you go into the water and the new life rising up as you come up from the water. If you have trusted Jesus as your Lord and your Savior, but have not been baptized, then baptism is your next step.
