The Power of a Story
“What we have seen and heard we proclaim to you also, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and, indeed, our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. ”
– I John 1:3
One of the greatest witnesses in all the Bible is a Samaritan we know as the “woman at the well.” During her encounter with Jesus, she learned He was the Messiah, who had come to offer the living water of eternal life. She returned to her city to share this good news. As a result, many Samaritans came to know Jesus as the “Savior of the World.” The woman at the well was not educated, and she had limited biblical understanding. She simply told her story. If you are a Christ-follower, you have a story as well. Your testimony is simply your story of your life-changing encounter with Jesus.
