April 27 Day 1 Monday: Flights from IAH to PHX projected Flight time:
IAH departs: 8:27am arriving: PHX 9:39am
Travel North to Sedona. Upscale resort type stay at Arabella Resort – set amongst the Oak Creek Canyon – Lunch at resort, some site-seeing and wonderful welcome dinner to enjoy! If time, maybe a stop along the way.

April 28, Day 2 Tuesday: Sedona Trolley Tour featuring the Chapel of the Holy Cross and Airport Mesa for a spectacular view of the Sedona area. A guide to give us insight into the various rock formations and indigenous vegetation and the history of the remarkable area. Later, visit uptown and the Spanish Mexican Village of Tlaquepaque full of galleries and shopping opportunities. Could do a back-country Tour if time, or Cathedral site – (B,D) – lunch on own.

April 29, Day 3 Wednesday: Grand Canyon. Begin the day with a drive through amazing Oak Creek Canyon, a 16-mile Canyon known for its spectacular-colored white, yellow and red cliffs dotted with Pine, Cypress, and Juniper. Arrive in Williams to board the Grand Canyon Railway for a nostalgic two-hour train journey that delivers you to the awe-inspiring South Rim of the Grand Canyon National Park/Glass Skybridg. Lunch on own, then board motorcoach to witness the awesome creations of God up close in its breathtaking colors and formations and Grand Canyon from other points of interest. Stop at Flagstaff for dinner before returning to Sedona. (B,D) Lunch on your own.

April 30, Day 4 Thursday: Montezuma Castle -Jerome Verde Canyon. Morning visit to Montezuma Castle National Monument which contains ruins of a Cliff Dwelling built in the 12th and 13th centuries by Sinagua Indians. Later visit the old mining town of Jerome once a virtual Ghost Town, now restored with shops, museums, and art galleries. (Lunch somewhere in here.) Then, travel to Clarksdale to board the Verde Canyon Railroad also known as the Wilderness Train. The spectacular four -hour ride in a First-Class Railcar takes you between two National Forests , and then on to Crimson Cliffs over old-fashioned trestles and through a 680-foot Tunnel. Early evening return to Sedona for time to freshen up before dinner. (B,L,D)

May 1, Day 5 Friday: Today is at leisure in Sedona. Enjoy the wonderful amenities of your resort. Visit to Montezuma Castle, some time for leisurely shopping/sight-seeing on your own, local museums or art galleries. Travel to Old Town Scottsdale where Western Storefronts recreate and aura of the past. Ancient Ruins, stunning Red Rock Range, Movie HeyDay experience. Lunch on own.
Dinner at the Blazin’ M Ranch where we will enjoy a hearty Chuck Wagon Supper and Western Stage Show. Overnight in Sedona.

May 2, Day 6 Saturday: Breakfast at the resort, return to Airport for flight home with more unforgettable memories and new friends. (B)
