Men’s Winter Retreat- South

All men are invited to be a part of the 2024 Men’s Winter Retreat set for February 16 and 17th. The theme of the Retreat is “Be Strong – Live Courageously” and reflects what we see in the life of Joshua as he was charged with leading the Children of Israel in Moses’ absence.

The Men’s Ministry Lead Team has put together a great weekend of encouragement, challenge, and fun. This Retreat will look a little different than most, but we think you will love it! On Friday night February 16th, the Retreat will kick-off with a great meal together at the Victory Camp in Alvin, Texas (about a 20-minute drive from the Church). Following dinner, we will have a wonderful time of worship and teaching, featuring a strong message from Pastor Matthew Spencer. The evening’s program will wrap up with several Discussion Groups led by our South Campus Pastors.

This is where the Retreat looks a bit different. Following a time of fellowship after the Discussion Groups on Friday night, our men are free to head to their homes to sleep in their own beds! On Saturday morning February 17th, we hope all of our men will join us as we head to Top Golf in Webster for a great time of fellowship together! We will laugh a lot, enjoy the fellowship of our brothers, and show off our golf game a little bit!

The cost of the Retreat is $20.00 for the Friday night activities at Victory Camp! The Saturday morning event at Top Golf costs $30. We hope you will choose to join us for both Friday night and Saturday, but if you need to, you can do one or the other. You will indicate that upon registering for the event.

In our busy, demanding world, it is important for us to get away occasionally to refuel and breathe. The Winter Retreat will do just that for you. The time at Victory Camp will help connect you with other men in the church, and Top Golf will be a great way to cap off an exceptional weekend!
