4th - 5th Grade

Next Level Bible Study

Preteens in grades 4 and 5 have the opportunity to grow deeper in their faith at Second. Each week in Next Level, God’s Word is taught to inspire spiritual growth, and guided discussions help connect faith to everyday life and the challenges of growing up. After the Bible Study lesson, students join small groups to reflect on and apply what they’ve learned in meaningful ways.

Next Level Worship

At this age, we encourage kids to attend Next Level for one hour and worship with their family for the other. It’s a meaningful step toward owning their faith and becoming part of the church community.

What We're Learning

July 5 - Ezekiel 37

God brought dry bones to life, showing His power to restore what seemed impossible. God is greater than our situation!

July 12 - Matthew 17

Jesus showed Peter that God sees every need and provides in surprising ways. God knows everything!

Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, showing His power to give life. God is stronger than death!

We come to church to worship together, just like the first Christians who loved Jesus and loved each other.

Next Level is our 4th & 5th grade ministry where preteens take their faith to the next level through Bible lessons, small groups, and fun activities.
Kids learn how to connect the Bible to their daily life and begin taking ownership of their faith. How will my preteen make friends? Small groups and age-specific activities make it easy for preteens to build friendships and feel included.
We recommend attending Next Level for one hour and worshiping with your family for the other to help kids grow in faith and connect with the church community.
