Who gets to tell you who you are?
Sometimes the way we see ourselves has been shaped by distorted mirrors: something a parent said, someone else’s expectations, past failures, insecurity, or the feeling that we will never be enough. But in 1 John 3:1–10, Scripture gives us a different reflection.
God’s lavish love changes how we understand our identity. In Christ, we are invited to know God as Abba Father, to become His children, and to grow into the life He has given us. And when life feels overwhelming and you are not sure what comes next, sometimes faithfulness looks surprisingly simple: trust your Father and do the next right thing.
