Second Baptist Special Needs Ministry | Woodway Campuswelcome to promise land
Promise Land exists to reach individuals with special needs, and their families, with the Good News of Jesus Christ. We desire for our participants to feel safe, loved, and to have the freedom to be themselves while in Promise Land. Our program allows them to grow emotionally, socially, and spiritually alongside others with special needs or disabilities. Promise Land allows families of those with special needs to connect to the life of the Second Family through Worship and Bible Study while their participant is in the care of Promise Land.
Promise Land classrooms are open during all worship and Bible study hours on Sunday mornings at 8:15am, 9:30am, and 11:00am in our Woodway Village facility. Our classrooms are thoughtfully designed to assist participants in their overall development. We incorporate a variety of enrichment stations into all programming hours, including Bible Study, Worship, movement, fine motor skills, tactile activities, and sensory experiences.
promise land REGISTRATION form
In order to ensure our team is adequately prepared to care for your Promise Land participant, the registration must be submitted, reviewed and approved prior to the participant’s attendance at Promise Land. You will not be able to drop off your participant in Promise Land until one of our Staff members has reached out to you regarding their first day of attendance. If you have questions or would like more information, please contact Lindsey Spencer at lspencer@second.org.
I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well.
