Loving Kids

Loving Kids is a collaborative community outreach meeting the physical, mental, and spiritual needs of the Acres Homes Community. Since May 2016, Loving Kids has invested almost $600,000 and almost 32,000 volunteer hours in school day tutoring and mentoring as well as other services.

In the Classroom

Loving Kids removes barriers to learning through consistent tutoring and mentoring, while also equipping students and teachers with essential resources. This includes student and teacher supplies, books and library materials, computers, backpacks, student awards, and teacher gift cards—helping create stable, encouraging learning environments where students can grow academically and personally.

Beyond the Classroom

Loving Kids strengthens the overall school community by supporting field trips, playgrounds and athletic fields, landscaping, and teacher and parent events. In times of crisis, we provide grocery relief and take-home meals for families in need. Through these efforts, we care for the physical, mental, and spiritual well-being of students and families—extending support beyond the classroom walls.
