The Superheroes are back again and this time they will have sidekicks! Register now for an amazing, free week of fun with great music and Bible stories, crafts, the Big Show and more! VBS (for children ages 5 - entering Grade 3) and VBX (for children entering Grades 4 & 5) run Monday-Thursday from 9AM-12PM with a Family Night for children and their parents on Thursday evening. You do not want to miss it!

Weekend Worship & Bible Study

Worship is the highest priority this summer at Second. Join us at one of our 6 Houston-area locations as we explore talking with God during these summer weeks. With multiple worship times along with a live stream of the Woodway 9:30AM Sunday service, you can worship with the Second Family wherever you are! As the heartbeat of community at Second, Bible Study classes offer dynamic teaching, provide support for the challenges of each season of life, and host social events, service projects and small groups. On each campus, you'll find classes for all ages and stages. Take time to deepen your relationship with God through the study of His Word while building relationships with others.

Houston Theological Seminary

Houston Theological Seminary is a new partnership between Second Baptist Church and Houston Baptist University. We are offering a dynamic new Masters level Seminary MODEL that combines the highest caliber of theological education with the most practical ministry training. Everyone is invited to participate. Classes will be offered to part-time or full-time students in pursuit of a Master of Divinity degree, as well as available for survey (for a minimal fee) to those seeking knowledge of God and the Bible minus the tests and term papers. Classes begin August 29 on the Woodway, West and North Campuses. Click the link below for more information.
