Worship Guide

Dear Church Family,
Spring officially arrives Monday and with it a sense of renewed life and energy. The beauty of nature’s rebirth reminds us that this is our Father’s world. Springtime also brings an abundance of activity at church, with opportunities for Worship, Bible Study, recreation, and volunteer service. We all know that one of the best ways we can affect our culture for Jesus, especially in our surrounding community, is to serve as He served. So, if you are a guest with us today, let me assure you this truly is a loving and serving church.
Spring most importantly is the season during which we celebrate the Day of days, the Resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. We are looking forward to the Passion Week Experience beginning April 5 and leading up to multiple Easter services that will take place on our campuses Friday, April 7 through Sunday, April 9. Remember, Easter provides the perfect opportunity to invite family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers to join you for worship. So, check for the dates and times for Passion Week Experience and Easter services on your campus, and begin now making your plans to celebrate Easter at Second.
Before I go, let me encourage you to remain in prayer for our city, state, nation, and world during these trying and challenging times. Remember, now is an opportunity for all of us to model our faith, engage others with the Good News of Jesus Christ and pray for God’s wisdom for our country’s leaders. May God bless you and yours with His grace, strength, and peace throughout this holy season.
His and yours,
