Welcome Nearlyweds & Newlyweds!

What is Nearly/Newlywed?

Mission Statement -
We are a group of couples that love the Lord, love our fiancé/spouse and recognize that our family was created the day we entered into our marriage covenant with God. We believe that our marriage must be built on a strong foundation of faith and communication. This will allow us to be fulfilled in our marriage and be joined as a single instrument that God can use to make a massive impact on this world for His kingdom.

Why Nearly/Newlywed –
Build a foundation of faith and communication in our marriage
Foster an environment that allows friendships to develop that will persist
Provide opportunities to fellowship with other believers who are at a similar stage in life
Encourage good habits as a couple that will stay with us throughout our marriage, such as regular church attendance, serving in the church and the community, stewardship, leadership and ministering to other believers

Mechanics –
Our Class is designed for the couple that is approaching their wedding date and throughout their first year of marriage
Each couple is assigned to a Mentor Couple Group, which is where the large class is broken into smaller groups thus allowing close relationships to develop, not only with the Mentor Couple but with the other members of the group
In addition to our Sunday morning class time, we get together regularly for social activities and occasional home studies on specific topics
