How to Use the SBC Playbook App

An App for Group Leaders and Ministry Volunteers

Paul writes in Ephesians 4:11-13, "11 And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, 12 to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, 13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ...."

Inspired by Ephesians 4:11-13, where we're reminded of the divine guidance given to the apostles, prophets, evangelists, shepherds, and teachers, the SBC Playbook App is a modern playbook for Second's ministry leaders. As a playbook directs players on the field, our app provides group leaders and ministry volunteers with strategic plays and tools essential for ministry and outreach. The app is designed to spotlight the unique needs of individuals within the Second Family, connecting members to the right groups and kindling fellowship and growth. By diving into this playbook, you are not just browsing an app; you're unlocking pathways to nurture the unity and maturity of the Christian community.

    • Group Participants - Unless a group task has been assigned and is accessible through the "My Tasks" section, group participants (including members, visitors, etc.) cannot access the Playbook app's group section.

    Group Tasks

Second's membership system conveniently creates tasks each week for the leaders of each group. These tasks are visible to all group leaders, no matter who the tasks are assigned to. These tasks remind leaders to connect with new visitors and people with consecutive absences and follow up with anyone needing help getting involved. This way, the group stays engaged with its members consistently.
