Worship Choir

The Worship Choir leads Worship each Sunday morning at the 9:30AM service on the Woodway Campus and joins with the North and West Worship Choirs for special presentations such as our Global Choir Christmas concerts, Global Nights of Praise, and other seasonal presentations. If you love to sing and have a passion for worship, this is the perfect time to join the Second Baptist Church Woodway Campus choir! No audition is required. Praise Teams and Mic Singers 

Praise Teams are an auditioned group of vocalists within the Woodway Worship Choir. These Praise Teams lead services on Saturday evening at 6PM and other special events throughout the year. Praise Team singers are able to stylize their voices to sing in a smaller vocal group and various styles of music including contemporary. In addition, members of the Praise Team are able to communicate the spirit and message of the music visually. Praise Teams rehearse on Wednesday evenings from   6-7:15PM and then join the Worship Choir rehearsal. For more information on Praise Teams, please contact the Worship Ministry office, 713.365.2400.

Mic Singers are an auditioned group from within the Woodway Worship Choir that sing on individual mics along with the choir on Sunday morning at 9:30AM. Mic singers are vocalists that can blend their voices well, sing their voice part consistently and provide a good vocal base for the choir.

Orchestra

The Woodway Orchestra leads in Worship each Sunday morning and joins with the West and North Worship Orchestras for special presentations throughout the year. No audition is required. Please contact the Worship Ministry Office, 713.365.2400, for rehearsal time and location.
